I had a wonderful husband for 30 years & was blessed to share his 6 children and now 10 grandchildren.  I moved from our home in California to be near my step-children and their children here in Washington as well as my brother who lives in Olympia, WA.  I will soon be moving closer to Brother Bruce. 

I moved from Minnesota in 1966 and worked for Boeing for 3 years and then 30 years with an insurance co (mostly in Ca.)  I have been retired for 10 years.  I have lived in Minn., WA, New Jersey, California & again in WA.

I have never been to a school reunion but remember so many of the names & faces.  I was not well known in school & my Senior picture was a disaster, but I do have many fond memories of St. Louis Park.

I attended the U of M and got a BA in sociiology, which has been totally useless. After school, I became a flight attendant for Pan AM. I was fortunate to be with the company when it was great and doing well. It also gave me the opportunity to see so many interesiting places and cultures. I had such fun shopping in New Delhi, Tolkyo, Hong Kong and many other places back when the dollar exchange was really good. After they went out of business, I was a sales rep and got to travel to Fargo, Des Moines, Green Bay, Madison and other hot spots in the upper midwest. For the past 8 years, I have had a pet sitting business in the West suburbs, and I love it......just can't quit.  I never had any human kids, but have had many 4 legged fury kids over the years.  This summer I am rehearsing with the Parkettes, so that we can wow everyone at the reunion Pep Rallly. I hope alot of you come and see us, because we are really GOOD!!

 Went to St. Cloud for a B.S., got married, had 2 girls and a  boy, taught for 36 years,...8 years in St L.P. and 28 in district 196..(went to Mankato for a M.S. and was divorced during that time).  Now have 2 wonderful grandkids and a 15 year relationship with a great guy.  we enjoy spending time at the lake in Crosslake and Ely as well as traveling  elsewhere around the Americas. We are very busy with our ski club activities as well as volunteer work at Lebanon Park, and Feed My Starving Children.  Have not kept in touch very much  with H.S. classmates since the divorce but enjoy running into them, especially "up north". Hope to reconnect at the reunion.

After graduation from our alma mater, I escaped to the sunshine at the University of Arizona in Tucson.  After only one year there, I returned to Minneapolis due to the death of my father.  While attending the the University of Minnesota, I met and married Alex Siegel.  Graduating with a degree in Elem. Ed. in 1965, I taught 2nd & 3rd grades in the St. Paul schools while Alex completed his Ph.D. in Child Psychology.  He was offered his 1st academic appointment at the University of Pittsburgh.  While there, Jeffrey was born in 1968 and Laurie followed in 1971.  After 12 years, Alex was offered a Professorship in the Department of Psychology and the Directorship of the Graduate Training Program in Developmental Psychology at the University of Houston.  Being Texans now, we wear cowboy boots, Stetson hats and have developed a significant drawl.  Because we live in suburbia, we cannot keep cattle or develop our oil wells.

Jeff (a physicist) and his wife Karen (a microbiologist) are DINKS (Double Income, No Kids) and live in Boston.  Laurie and her children, Sarah (11) and Alexander (8) live in Christchurch, New Zealand.  Laurie received her Masters Degree in Counseling and is currently Operations Director for the Problem Gambling Foundation of New Zealand.  Apparently one of our children's life goals was to live as far away from their parents as possible.  At least we have great places to visit!  We try to see our grandchildren as often as possible, but it is a long, long flight.  They have come to visit us several times in Houston and in Cape Cod.

As far as my other world, I enjoy a great variety of activities.  I enjoy reading, book groups, bridge and other games, and being with friends for lunch and dinner.  Alex's coin collecting hobby has evolved into a business, and he stays busy doing research and writing about foreign coins as well as buying and selling them.  I am an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetic.  I don't have a pink Caddy, nor do I expect to get one soon.  I try not to let my business get in the way of my social life, but I do try to keep everyone, including myself, looking young and beautiful.  It seems to really work.  I look pretty good for 92, don't you think??
